Troubleshooting Notifications Not Received on Android Devices

If you are not receiving notifications on your Android device, the following may be the cause:

1. Notification permissions have not been granted
2. Silent mode or a similar setting is enabled
3. Notification sounds and vibrations are turned off

1. Notification permissions have not been granted

If notification permissions for JustNotify are not granted in the device settings, you will not receive notifications. Please follow the steps below to grant notification permissions.

1. Open the Settings app
2. Tap "Apps" or "Apps & notifications"
3. Tap "See all apps"
4. Tap JustNotify
5. Tap "Notifications" and turn on "All notifications"

2. Silent mode or a similar setting is enabled

If silent mode or a similar setting is enabled, notifications may not be displayed. On Android devices, it is possible to exclude specific apps from these settings so that they still receive notifications. Please follow the steps below to check and configure these settings.

1. Open the Settings app
2. Tap "Modes"
3. Tap the mode that is currently enabled, such as "Silent mode"
4. Tap "Apps"
5. Tap the settings icon to the right of "Selected apps"
6. Select JustNotify from "Add apps"
7. Enable "Allow all notifications"
8. Tap the "Default Notifications" text
9. Confirm that all are enabled

3. Notification sounds and vibrations are turned off

If notification sounds and vibrations are turned off, you may not be able to notice notifications, especially when the device is powered off. Please follow the steps below to check and configure these settings.

1. Press either of the volume up buttons
2. Tap the icon at the top of the volume bar that appears
3. Select the vibration mark (📳) or speaker mark (🔊)

※ If it is set to mute (🔇), notifications will not be received.

Selecting the vibration mark will result in vibration only, while selecting the speaker mark will result in both sound and vibration.
